All right, so this isn’t about creating a game. But resumes and cover letters are my weird superpower: I’m strangely good at writing and reviewing them. So if you’re trying to figure out how to best describe your game design, podcasting, and/or streaming experience in a way that will sound impressive to an employer, you can send them to me for feedback!
For both resume and cover letter reviews, I will provide a standard level of copyediting, plus specific advice on how to describe your accomplishments and skills. Files should be submitted as Word documents (.doc or .docx) and should be formatted the way that you plan to send them to employers, including any colors, graphic elements, styles, fonts, etc. that you have chosen. If you are applying for a specific job, please include the job description as well, so I can help you tailor your documents to the employer.
There is a flat fee of $10 to review a single resume (max 2 pages) or single cover letter (max 2 pages); for resume and cover letter together (max 2 pages each), the flat fee is $15. Flexible pricing is available on these services. I cannot provide assistance on professional or academic CVs, as I do not have sufficient background knowledge or experience in working with them.
